Bobbin Lace

Just like the name suggests, Bobbin Lace is made by manipulating bobbins of thread, often with the aid of anchoring pins on a firm pillow.

Needle Lace

Needle lace is formed by tiny knotted stitches made with a simple needle and thread, or can be stitched on fabric with portions thereof then cut away.

Tatting

Using a shuttle and nimble fingers, tatting lace is built by forming knots in circular patterns.
